Ballylinch Stud Classic Trials Day is an exciting fixture showcasing emerging stars and future Group and Classic contenders. It also marks the first Flat meeting of the season at Leopardstown.

The Ballylinch Stud Priory Belle 1,000 Guineas Trial has become closely linked with Classic success, while the Ballylinch Stud 2,000 Guineas Trial has a strong record of producing exceptional horses. Past winners such as Bach, Refuse to Bend and Famous Name have all gone on to achieve graded success.

The P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes is an important trial for major European Classics. Recent standout winners include Rekindling, trained by Joseph O’Brien, who went on to claim international honours in the Emirates Melbourne Cup, the world’s richest handicap.
